Shift:  Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 4:30PM

Job Description:

Rockland County based commercial and residential contractor is seeking a qualified Administrative Assistant. Company offers medical benefits, paid time off, and 401K.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales and purchase contracts
  • Review and update existing contracts and insurance documentation
  • Dictate and compose estimates and correspondence
  • General contract administration and document controls
  • Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records
  • Oversee handling and distribution of bids and proposals for services

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
  • General knowledge of insurances
  • Familiarity with general accounting procedures
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Keen attention to detail with an ability to spot errors
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers, and external partners
  • Experience in construction practices is a plus
